Digital marketing & web design in New York City
Websites, SEO, Google Business Profile, ads, reviews and automation for businesses across all five boroughs.
B2B Systems Group provides websites, SEO, Google Business Profile management, Google Ads and Local Services Ads, review and booking systems, and business automation to companies across Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx and Staten Island. New York City is the most competitive local search market in the United States, and the tactics that work here differ meaningfully from suburban ones.
The New York City reality
Here, the search radius is measured in blocks.
In most of the country, a local search pulls in businesses from several miles away. In Manhattan, a search for a dentist or a locksmith can be dominated by businesses within half a mile — because there are thirty of them within half a mile. Proximity is still the strongest factor, but the scale it operates at is completely different.
That produces two practical consequences. Neighborhood-level targeting matters far more than borough-level targeting: “dentist in Park Slope” is a real, winnable search in a way that “dentist in Brooklyn” often isn’t. And review volume has to be genuinely high to compete, because your neighbors have been collecting them for years.
Ad costs follow the same logic. Cost per click in competitive NYC categories runs multiples of the New Jersey equivalent, which makes conversion rate — the website, the reviews, the speed of response — far more decisive than budget alone.
What changes in NYC
- Neighborhood targeting beats borough targeting, almost always
- Review volume needs to be high, not adequate
- Mobile speed is decisive — a large share of searches happen on the move, on imperfect connections
- Multi-language content is a genuine advantage in much of Queens and Brooklyn
- Service-area configuration needs care: a Manhattan business claiming all five boroughs usually ranks well in none
- Ad budgets need to be realistic or the campaign never gathers enough data

What we do here
All five systems, tuned for NYC.
Websites & SEO for NYC businesses
Neighborhood-level content strategy, aggressive mobile performance work because NYC traffic is overwhelmingly mobile and often on poor connections, and AI search optimization for a market where answer engines are heavily used.
Websites & SEO →Google Business Profile management
Honest service-area configuration — claiming a realistic radius rather than all five boroughs — plus the category testing and weekly activity needed to hold position in a crowded field.
GBP & listings →Google Ads & Local Services Ads
Neighborhood radius targeting instead of borough-wide spending, tight negative keyword discipline because wasted NYC clicks are expensive, and Google Screened for eligible professions.
Advertising & social →Reviews & booking
Aggressive but compliant review generation, because the volume bar in NYC is high. Booking systems that let people reserve at 11 PM on a phone, which is when a meaningful share of NYC bookings happen.
Reviews & booking →Business technology & automation
POS and shop-management setup for NYC auto shops, contractors and practices with the right tax configuration, CRM automation, missed-call recovery, and complete digital setup for businesses opening in the five boroughs.

Working with us in New York City.
Is SEO even possible in a market this competitive?
Yes, but the target has to be right. Competing for “dentist NYC” is usually a waste of money. Competing for “emergency dentist Astoria” or “Invisalign Park Slope” is realistic and produces patients who can actually get to you. We build neighborhood and service-specific strategies rather than borough-wide ones, because that’s what wins here.
Should I target all five boroughs?
Almost never at the start. A profile claiming all five boroughs typically ranks well in none of them, and ad budget spread that thin gathers no useful data anywhere. We start with the area you can realistically serve well, establish position there, then expand deliberately.
How much do Google Ads cost in NYC?
Considerably more than in New Jersey — often two to four times the cost per click in the same category, and far more in legal and medical. Practical monthly minimums start at around $2,500 for home services, $3,000 for medical and dental, and $10,000 for competitive legal categories. Below those levels the campaign usually can’t collect enough data to optimize, and we’ll tell you that rather than take the work.
Do you handle multi-language content?
Yes, and in much of Queens and Brooklyn it’s a real competitive advantage rather than a nicety. We build properly structured multi-language pages with correct markup — not a machine-translation widget, which search engines largely ignore and native speakers immediately notice.
Do you work with businesses that have several NYC locations?
Yes. Each location needs its own Google Business Profile, its own genuinely distinct location page, and its own review flow. The common failure is treating multiple locations as one entity — which produces profiles that compete with each other and location pages Google reads as duplicates.
